ATC Taxes - TaxLookup.net Tax Collection at Town level has ended. All Town and County taxes are now due to Cayuga County and CANNOT be paid at Town level. Please contact the Cayuga County Treasurer's Office at 315-253-1211. NOTE: Service Fees will be charged to online payments. The payment processor will add service fees to your total at checkout and will be added to each transaction in addition to any tax, penalty and interest charged. These service fees are not collected by the Town of Sennett and are non-refundable. Credit/Debit Cards – 2.65% ($3.00 minimum) per transaction E-Checks - $1.50 per transaction In order to use the credit card or e-check option, you must agree to an additional processing fee per transaction. Credit cards are charged an additional 2.65% processing fee per transaction, or a minimum of $3.00, whichever is greater. We accept credit and debit cards by Visa, Master Card, American Express and Discover Card. E-Checks - $1.50 per transaction E-check (ACH) payments are now accepted online for tax payments. Personal checks are accepted subject to collection, for which this office assumes no responsibility. If a check is returned for any reason, a $20 returned check fee will be added to your account. Paying by Mail - Payments sent in the mail can only be accepted by the date postmarked on the envelope. Without a postmark on the envelope, mailed payment will be accepted and processed as the date they were received. It is suggested that a taxpayer making a tax payment by mail near a deadline date, take it to the post office and have it stamped by the post office or send the payment by certified mail, return receipt requested. Metered mail DOES NOT constitute a postmark. New Property Owners It takes time for changes in ownership to be reported to the Town. Therefore, a tax bill may be sent to the previous owner. So for your own protection, call and advise the Tax Office where you would like your bill to be sent, as it is the homeowner’s responsibility to check on their taxes. Have a great day!! |
