The Town’s Water & Sewer Department maintains, repairs, and operates the Town’s publicly owned water and sewer infrastructure. This department assists residents and businesses with new service hookups. It also responds to water and sewer line breaks on a 24/7/365 basis each year. The Superintendent and employees also read all town sewer and water meters and assist with special district billing.

- There are additional fees charged by our service provider and will appear on your credit card statement as a separate charge. The Town of Sennett does not charge for this service.
- Bank service fees apply and are charged to the card holder as follows:
- E-Check payments of $0.01 – $1,999.99 carry a fee of $2.50
- E-Check payments of $2,000.00 - $3,999.99 carry a fee of $5.00
- E-Check payments of $4,000.00 – $5,999.99 carry a fee of $7.50
- E-Check payments of $6,000.00 – $7,999.99 carry a fee of $10.00
- E-Check payments of $8,000.00 – $9,999.99 carry a fee of $12.50
- Credit card payments equal to or greater than $64.00 carry a fee of 2.75% of the total payment
- Credit card payments less than $64.00 carry a fee of $1.75
- Bank service fees apply and are charged to the card holder as follows:
- You will need to know your account number, which is located on your bill.
- The QuickPay program does not allow for water payments and sewer payments to be made separately. The program will show your total account balance, which will need to be paid in full.
- There will be brief times in which online payments may not be accepted (during bill processing, and after the due date while penalties are being processed).

Water & Sewer Rates
As of January 1 , 2023 the City of Auburn has increased our Sewer rate by 6.5%. As a result, sewer customers will see an increase on their sewer rates of 6.5%, beginning the first quarter billing cycle that will be mailed out in early April. The City of Auburn will also be increasing our water cost by 15% as of 5/1/23. As a result of this increase, water customers will see an increase on their water bills beginning the second quarter billing cycle of the year, which will be mailed out in early July.
As of January 1, 2023, the City of Auburn has increased our Sewer rate by 6.5%. As a result, sewer customers have seen an increase on their sewer rates of 6.5%. The City of Auburn also increased our water costs by 15% as of 5/1/23. As a result of this increase, water customers saw an increase on their water bills in the second quarter billing cycle of the year.
